UCD (Southwell) Limited, a national shopfitting, building, manufacturing and logistics contractor, with many years experience providing a complete construction and fit-out service throughout the UK and Mainland Europe, recognises the potential in developing sectors of its market. With this in mind, we have established UCD (Electrical) Limited, an NICEIC approved company set up to enhance our ‘one stop’ contractor based capabilities.

UCD (Electrical) Limited have already been awarded a considerable number of projects to service, encompassing new electrical installations within Pets at Home in Croydon and Fareham and major electrical upgrades and refurbishment projects for House of Fraser in Telford and Aylesbury. They are also undertaking multi-site housing electrical refurbishment works in the East Midlands for Local Authorities and Housing Associations.
Turnover is anticipated to exceed £500,000 in the first year alone and as UCD (Southwell) Limited’s fit-out and construction core businesses continue to expand sustained growth is foreseen for UCD (Electrical) Limited in 2012.

The added assurance that, with our NICEIC Approved Contractor status, UCD (Electrical) Limited also has £1,000,000 Professional Indemnity Insurance covering the design aspects of all our Mechanical & Electrical systems, where applicable and required by our Clients. This, together with our Employers, Product & Public Liability and Contractors All risk Insurances, gives peace of mind to all potential end users of our products and services.

Our extensive in-house technical facilities and network of UK and international wholesale suppliers, enable us to provide you, the Client, with sound, cost effective advice and accurate budgetary costs to suit all types of installation.
The Team
Our objective is simple, to continue to provide a premier and the most effective service within the industry. Only by having the highest skilled staff and workforce can we ensure that we maintain our standards and succeed in the marketplace.
With this in mind, we have employed the expertise of a Commercial Manager, with 25 years experience in Mechanical & Electrical installations, and a Technical & Contracts department, which is second to none.
The Team
We have a Senior Contracts supervisor, four Senior Electrical Site Foremen and an Apprenticeship scheme for four trainee electricians, advancing through their apprenticeship in years one to three.
